Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash | Regulatory Reporting Solution for non-MiFIR firms: Production data clean-up files inconsistencies for Wave 1

Dear Eurex Participant,

Please be informed that we are currently investigating potential (limited) inconsistencies with the files that were distributed for the historical transaction reporting errors/omissions clean-up via the Common Report Engine (CRE) on 1 November 2022. Minor issues with the historical upload functionality were identified and are being worked on; these will be added to the known limitations list.

We recommend that Trading Participants who planned to start the historical data clean-up (one-off effort) with the Production start on 1 November to postpone working on the files until further notice. We will inform you via Newsflash once all issues have been resolved and give recommendation to start working on the corrections.

If clients already started to work on the files and uploaded some, please store these files for potential re-upload at a later stage with adjusted file names.

Taking the situation into consideration, the three months' correction period announced in Readiness Newsflash from 28 September 2022 no longer applies. A new deadline will be announced in due course.

We kindly ask for your patience while we work to fix the issues encountered.

You can find further details in the document "Data Clean-Up Approach", available on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following links:
