Equity derivatives: Introduction of new Liquidity Provider schemes

1. Introduction

The Management Board of Eurex Deutschland and the Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG decided, with effect from 1 April 2020, to introduce new Liquidity Provider (LP) schemes for the following products:

  • European exercise style equity options with euro currency,
  • European exercise style equity options with Swiss currency,
  • Single Stock Futures with physical settlement,
  • Single Stock Futures in the Finnish segment.

Production start: 1 April 2020

This circular contains information on the introduction of the new LP schemes and the respective Product Specific Supplements as attachments.

2. Required action

Liquidity Providers, who are active in equity options and Single Stock Futures, which will be part of the new LP schemes, should ensure that from the production start they will use the latest MMPM parameter file for the updated quote requirements. The MMPM parameter file is available on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com under the following link:

3. Details of the initiative

The quoting obligations can be found in the attached Product Specific Supplements. As of start of trading, they will also be available on the Eurex website under the link:
