1.    Introduction

The Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG has decided the following amendments to the Price List to the Connection Agreement, Provider Connection Agreement and STPIP and QTPIP Connection Agreement (hereafter: Price List) with effect from 1 June 2023:

  • Introduction of Capacity Type Ultra for Eurex ETI High Frequency sessions with a maximum of 250 transactions/second
  • Corresponding addition to the connection fees for sessions according to the Price List, Number 1.3 “Monthly fees for the use of the Trading System T7”

Production start: 1 June 2023

2.    Required action

Depending on the specifics of their trading activity, Trading Participants should check if they want to use the new capacity type.

3.    Details

Following requests by clients, Eurex Frankfurt AG introduces the new capacity type Ultra for Eurex ETI High Frequency sessions. With a maximum capacity of 250 transactions/second, the new capacity type Ultra enables a higher transaction throughput for Trading Participants who require such alternative. The new capacity type Ultra will be offered for ETI High Frequency sessions only.

As of 15 June 2023 onwards, orders for capacity type Ultra can be placed in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse.

The amended sections of the Price List are attached to this circular. As of the effective date, the full version of the amended Price List will be available for download on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following link:

Pursuant to § 9 of the General Terms and Conditions of the Agreement Concerning the Technical Connection and the Utilization of the Exchange EDP of Eurex Deutschland (Connection Agreement), Eurex Frankfurt AG is entitled to amend the General Terms and Conditions at any time, having due regard to the interests of the Trading Participant. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions will be notified to Trading Participants at least six (6) weeks prior to their effective date. They are deemed to have been approved if the Trading Participant does not lodge objections in writing with Eurex Frankfurt AG within six (6) weeks of notification of the amendment.
