Deutsche Wohnen AG: Voluntary public takeover offer by Vonovia SE

The company Vonovia SE submitted a voluntary public takeover offer to the shareholders of Deutsche Wohnen AG.
According to the offer, shareholders of Deutsche Wohnen AG shall receive a consideration of seven Vonovia SE shares plus a cash component of EUR 83.14 for each eleven Deutsche Wohnen AG shares tendered.

Provided the transaction can be regarded as having taken place effectively, existing Eurex contracts (DWNI, DWNF) on Deutsche Wohnen AG will be adjusted by means of the R-factor method in accordance with the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich, section 2.6.10.1 (7) for options and section 1.6.7 (7) for futures.

On 10 February 2016, the company Vonovia SE announced that the minimum acceptance threshold for a takeover of Deutsche Wohnen AG has not been reached.
Therefore, the requirements for the adjustment explained in Eurex circular 014/16 are not given and trading in options and futures on Deutsche Wohnen AG (DWNI, DWNF) will be continued without changes.
