Gategroup Holding AG: Takeover

The companies Gategroup Holding AG and HNA Group Co.,Ltd. announced in their press release from 11th April 2016 that HNA Group will propose to acquire Gategroup Holding AG via a takeover offer to the shareholders of Gategroup Holding AG at a price of CHF 53,-- per share.

This information describes the potential effects this transaction will have on the above mentioned contracts.

Adjustment Result:

The company HNA Aviation announced the fulfilment of all closing conditions and the settlement of the public takeover offer of Gategroup Holding AG. Accordingly, as described in Corporate Action Info 001 and pursuant to the Contract Specifications for Futures Contracts and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland and Eurex Zürich, number 2.6.10.1 (7) existing positions in the series for the Eurex option contract on shares of Gategroup Holding AG will be settled at theoretical fair value, based on the offer price of CHF 53.00.
Settlement of the options contract will take place effective 22 December 2016 based on the settlement prices of 21 December 2016. On 21 December 2016, all participants with open positions will receive a FAX containing an overview of their respective open positions.
Booking of the cash amount will take place on 21 December 2016 with value date 22 December 2016. In the end-of-day batch processing of 22 December 2016, the positions will be booked out effective 23 December 2016.
