1.    Introduction

Eurex Frankfurt AG shall be entitled to directly debit connection fees from EU-based Multi-Member System Providers.

The amendment will come into effect on 1 January 2021.

2.    Required action

Eurex Multi-Member System Providers resident on EU territory must submit a direct debit authorisation for connection fees issued by Eurex Frankfurt AG.

3.    Details

The Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG has decided to amend the “General Terms and Conditions to the Agreement on the technical connection of a Multi-Member System Provider to the Exchange-EDP Eurex® (Provider Connection Agreement)” to make direct debit mandatory for Eurex Frankfurt AG connection fees for all EU-based Multi-Member System Providers.

Therefore, the GTC to the Provider Connection Agreement will be amended accordingly.

The amendments, as set out in the Attachment, will become effective on 1 January 2021.

Amendments to the GTC to the Provider Connection Agreement will be notified to the Contracting Party at least six weeks prior to their effective date. They are deemed to have been approved if the Contracting Party does not lodge objections with Eurex Frankfurt AG within six (6) weeks of notification of the amendment.
