Unilever PLC: Reorganisation/ISIN -Change

The companies announced the termination of the simplification of Unilever`s corporate structure. As of the termination, the products at Eurex will continue trading unchanged parameters. The Future-contract on Unilever PLC shares (ULVF) will resume trading as of 08th of October 2018.

The following actions will not be executed!

The companies Unilever N.V and Unilever PLC announced the simplification of Unilever`s corporate structure. Subject to the approval by the shareholders, one old Unilever PLC share will be exchanged against 1 new Unilever N.V ordinary share. As soon as the transaction becomes effective, the underlying share will change to the new Unilever N.V share. More information about this transaction is available on the company`s website under www.unilever.com.

The transaction will lead to an adjustment of the above mentioned contracts as follows:

The new Unilever N.V share will be listed at Euronext Amsterdam in Euro and at the London Stock Exchange in the form of depositary interests in GBX. With immediate effect, no further series and maturities will be introduced in the options contract on Unilever PLC. Series with no open positions will be deleted. As soon as no open positions exist, trading in the option contract on Unilever PLC shares will be discontinued. In the Future-contract on Unilever PLC shares (ULVF), no open positions exist. Trading in this contract will therefore discontinue with immediate effect.

The new Unilever N.V share with the ISIN NL0013026966 cannot be attributed to the Option contract (ULV). Product- and Underlying-ISIN (GB00B10RZP78) will therefore remain unchanged. Delivery of the new Unilever N.V share (NL0013026966) will be processed via the Basket methodology Setup. The Eurex Report TA111 accordingly will list in addition to the “Basket-ISIN” GB00B10RZP78 the “Basket component” NL0013026966.

Upon Exercise/Assignment, delivery of the new Unilever N.V share (NL0013026966) will take place. The resulting cash amount will be converted from GBP into EUR based on the ECB reference rate (EUR/GBP) of the day of the exercise/assignment.
