Eurex Clearing
This circular contains information about amendments to the Clearing Conditions for Eurex Clearing AG (Clearing Conditions) triggered by C7 Release 2.0 and the C7 Flexible Account Structure offering for individually segregated fund managers.
Production launch of C7 Release 2.0
On 24 November 2014, C7 Release 2.0 will be implemented in production. C7, the new clearing architecture of Eurex Clearing AG, will replace the existing Eurex Clearing Classic system in a phased approach. As announced with Eurex Clearing circular 131/14, starting with C7 Release 2.0, margin requirements for pending equity delivery transactions will be calculated on a Flexible Account level.
Flexible Account Structure (FAS) for individually segregated fund managers for Eurex Derivatives Market
Starting 24 November 2014, fund managers will be offered the opportunity to individually segregate their funds using the C7 Flexible Account Structure (additional agent accounts).
Amendments to the Clearing Conditions
In parallel to the C7 2.0 production launch, the Clearing Conditions will be amended. The updated sections of the Clearing Conditions as decided by the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG are attached to this circular. All amendments will come into effect on 24 November 2014.
