By means of this circular we would like to remind you that since 2009, 24 December and 31 December have been regular settlement days (elimination of Giovannini Barrier 7). Thus, 24 December and 31 December 2015 have been included in the regular clearing and settlement calendar of Eurex Clearing.
Cash amounts due from previous days’ settlements in euro, Swiss franc, U.S. dollar, British pound, Taiwan dollar, Japanese yen and South-Korean won will be settled on both days (24 December and 31 December 2015).
Contractual penalties (“Vertragsstrafen”) will apply in accordance with the Clearing Conditions for Eurex Clearing AG, Chapter I Part 1 Number 14.2.2.
Month- and year-end reports for December 2015 will be distributed on 31 December 2015.
On 24 December and 31 December 2015, back-office staff members are required to be on site between
08:00 and 14:30 CET. Afterwards, they need to be available via telephone until 20:00 CET.
