Eurex Clearing
The AMQP software used on Eurex Clearing’s FIXML Interfaces will be upgraded to the newer software release Red Hat MRG Messaging 3.2.
Clearing Members and ISVs using the interface should test their applications during the simulation period and consider upgrading the AMQP libraries used in their software to the latest available versions.
The upgraded software will be available in the simulation environment as of start of business on
16 September 2016 and in the production environment as of start of business on 17 October 2016.
After the upgrade, the Eurex Clearing AMQP broker will support local transactions and idle timeout/ heartbeat for connections using the AMQP 1.0 protocol. Additionally, only 10 simultaneous connections per account will be allowed. This limit was introduced together with the FIXML Interface but has not been strictly enforced up to date. With the upgrade to MRG-M 3.2, the AMQP broker will enforce this limit.
Volumes A, B and E of the Eurex Clearing Messaging Interface Connectivity documentation have been updated accordingly and can be found on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurexclearing.com via the following path:
Technology > Eurex Clearing classic system > System documentation > Eurex Clearing Interfaces
