Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 GUI: Rate ID for VBAP Transactions
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing wants to inform you that the Rate ID field will become mandatory on the Create Average Price Transaction Overview screen for Value Based Average Price (VBAP) transaction creation.
Users will be required to select a value from the available dropdown list when creating a VBAP transaction. To maintain flexibility, an "empty" option will still be available if no specific value should be applied.
This enhancement is designed to reduce potential handling errors on the client side, particularly in cases where no valid Rate ID is selected during transaction creation.
Please note:
- This change applies only to VBAP transactions created via the C7 GUI
- FIXML-based transaction creation remains unaffected
This feature will be available starting 1 June 2026.
The related documentation C7 12.1 “C7 Clearing GUI - User Manual” will be updated accordingly.
