Eurex Clearing
Dear Clearing Member,
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing announces the introduction of a cash account for Basic Clearing Members as an enhancement on Collateral Management. The new cash account will allow Basic Clearing Members to manage their own intraday margin calls directly. Basic Clearing Members who wish to opt into this optional feature can contact their Clearing Key Account Manager.
This feature is available in production as of 6 April 2021.
This new feature does not require FIXML implementation from Clearing Members. There is an impact on the CMS Collateral GUI and clearing reports CD020 and CD031. The relevant documentation is available on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ on our dedicated Initiatives page:
