Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | EurexOTC Currency Clearing: Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) – Start of simulation
Dear Eurex Clearing Participant,
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing would like to draw your attention to the possibility to test the upcoming Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs) in our simulation environment.
Starting 1 November 2021, NDF clearing will be available in simulation for both inter-dealer and clients trades for six currency pairs with cash settlement in USD. The currency pairs are:
- BRL/USD
- KRW/USD
- IDR/USD
- CLP/USD
- INR/USD
- TWD/USD
NDFs will be available only on three Approved Trade Sources:
- TradeServ
- Traiana
- 360T
Members should reach out to their Clearing KAMs to request the set-up of the NDF product to allow clearing of such trades.
