With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing announces the scheduled frozen zones in preparation for the Simulation and Production launches of the Eurex Clearing Releases in 2026.

*For Eurex Clearing, no new member setup and member reference data modifications to be considered. Exceptions to be considered case to case, depending on system impact.

Important Information on Onboarding Activities and Restrictions

General Restrictions:

During the specified time periods, unless otherwise stated, it is prohibited to execute any processes in the simulation or production environments that involve changes to reference data for Clearing Members and clients.

This includes:

  • Account changes
  • Product maintenance
  • Clearer changes
  • Member or user changes
  • Cancellation of membership
  • New membership
  • Static data updates

Please note that the timelines provided are indicative, and Clearing Members are strongly encouraged to factor these into their planning, especially for client onboarding activities.

Recommendations:

  • Apply for any changes or new setups well in advance of the Frozen Zone or wait until the period concludes.
  • Buy-side client onboardings can still be initiated at any time using the Client Onboarding Tool (C7 CAS). The Onboarding team will confirm the go-live date for such requests.
