Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | Project UNO: Reminder about the upcoming GC Pooling and GC Pooling Re-Use collateral migration on 24 October 2026
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing informs GC Pooling Repo Clearing Members about the upcoming GC Pooling and GC Pooling Re-Use collateral migration related to Clearstream’s project UNO (Unified for New Opportunities).
For GC Pooling Repo Clearing Members using 6-series accounts for settlement of GC Pooling exposures as well as GC Pooling Re-Use exposures, all open exposures settling on 6-series accounts will be transferred to CBL settlement accounts as part of the GC Pooling accounts migration scheduled for 24 October 2026.
For the avoidance of doubt, the GC Pooling collateral used for Eurex Clearing margining under the GC Pooling Re-Use service will also be transferred from 6-series accounts to CBL accounts. Clients affected by the Re-Use collateral migration are requested to ensure that sufficient eligible holdings remain available on the source account throughout the migration weekend. This serves as an additional safeguard should CmaX be unable to transfer any of the ISINs allocated to the 6-series accounts.
Following the migration, 6-series accounts will no longer be eligible for either GC Pooling settlement or the GC Pooling Re-Use service. Please find further details on the timeline via the following link: Unified for new Opportunities (UNO).
As part of the migration, the following reports will be created on migration day 24 October 2026:
- CE860 – Pending Delivery Report
- CE880 – GC Pooling Collateral Allocation Report
- TC850 – Repo Contracts Report
The reports will be generated during the migration day and will be made available via the Common Report Engine. Please note that these reports are only generated for members who have pending active exposures to be migrated to CBL accounts. The new settlement account will be displayed in the reports. Apart from this adjustment, no further data changes will be performed.
