Eurex Clearing
To comply with EMIR reporting requirements, each OTC derivatives transaction needs to be reported by means of a Unique Transaction Identifier (UTI). Presently, Eurex Clearing uses “000ECAG000” as the issuer code (field “UTIIssuer”) in each generated UTI.
With Eurex Clearing circular 088/15, Eurex Clearing announced that as of the launch date of EurexOTC Clear Release 6.0, the issuer code in the UTI of newly cleared EurexOTC Clear transactions would be changed to “E02529900LN3S50JPU47S06”. The change is necessary to be in line with EMIR implementation requirements.
However, due to external dependencies, Eurex Clearing has decided to change the ESMA method and change the UTI issuer code to “E01XXXXECAG”.
This change will become effective in simulation as of 23 September 2015 and in production as of 9 November 2015.
The “UTIIssuer” is sent in trade notification messages, Member reports, as well as trade submission acknowledgements and exception messages.
Sample reports, sample FpML messages and documents related to the release will be updated accordingly.
