FIXML Interface: Amendments relating to entry and approval via Eurex Trade Entry Services

The Eurex Clearing FIXML Interface will be updated to support changed Eurex Trade Entry Service (TES) functionality:

  1. Entering the trader subgroup of the off-book counterparty is now optional for bilateral trades.
  2. The technical 30 minute time limit for approval has been removed.

Previously, the FIXML Interface required entry of a counterparty subgroup for all types of off-book trades. This restriction has been lifted for bilateral trades; the respective fields are now optional. When a subgroup is provided, it is also included in the subsequent workflow broadcast to the counterparty and can be used by Member applications for further internal routing.

As described in the Eurex Trader GUI and Eurex Admin GUI Manual, the 30 minute time limit for approval will be removed within T7 Release 2.5. For further information, please refer to the document on the Eurex website www.eurexchange.com under the following link:

The changes to the interface will be available in the Simulation environment from 7 November 2014 and in Production as of 24 November 2014.
