Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 Release 6.0: Readiness update

With this Newsflash we would like to provide additional C7 Release 6.0 updates regarding the following topics:

1. Communication Calendar 

The updated Communication Calendar has been published on the website. Please note, the Communication Calendar includes additional version controls to the existing documents.

2. Report changes RPTCD042 & RPTTT721

In addition to the report changes introduced with C7 6.0, we would like to emphasize the following updates to the below reports. 

2.1 RPTCD042 Daily Settlement Statement    

a. Entries for currencies with empty (zero) values will be omitted. However, the entry in the clearing currency will be available. i.e: If all the following fields are with zero value for a non-clearing currency (recA_secuTotBalAmnt), (recA_guarTotBalAmnt), (recA_cshCollAmnt), (recA_mgnReqrAmnt), the entire row will be omitted.  

b. Please note, we have identified a discrepancy in the RPTCD042 report in Simulation (17 September to 13 November 2019) and Production (18 November to 29 November 2019), where the recA_secuTotBalAmnt value has been rounded up. The expected behaviour should be rounded to two decimals. The corrected behavior is planned to be implemented on 1 December 2019 in Production and on 14 November 2019 in Simulation. In the meantime, in order to calculate the current figure to two decimal places for recA_secuTotBalAmnt in Simulation and Production, please use the following method:

The field recA_secuTotBalAmnt with two decimal precision is the sum of the following fields: (recA_ovrUndrCovAmnt)- (recA_guarTotBalAmnt)-( recA_cshCollAmnt)+( recA_mgnReqrAmnt).

2.2 RPTTT721 Member Capacity and Product Assignment Maintenance 

The new report RPTTT721 report was introduced in Simulation on 23 September 2019 (replacing the RPTTT121 report). However, we have identified some discrepancies with the data populated in the report. We are working on a solution with high priority and the new report will be available at the end of October.

For additional information, please refer to the Report Reference Manual that is planned to be published in November 2019.

3. Video session on Capacity/Product Assignment on C7

In order to provide more transparency and to help you for preparation of the Capacity/Product Assignment feature and process, we have published a short video, thus assisting in concluding the maintenance activity that needs to be performed between 11 November and 15 November 2019.

4. Decommissioning of Eurex Classic

After the C7 6.0 Release introduction on 18 November 2019, the below-mentioned windows will be made available in the C7 GUI and decommissioned in the Eurex Classic system.

5. Readiness Statement (C7)

We would like to make you aware about the mandatory feedback that we kindly request from you. Please submit the "Readiness Statement" for the go-live of C7 Release 6.0 not later than Friday, 8 November 2019.
