Eurex Clearing
1. Introduction
With this circular, Eurex Clearing announces the postponement of the C7 Release 7.0 item “FIXML broker migration” until 2021. The migration consists of C7 FIXML broker upgrade from current qpid C++ to Java.
Please note that the C7 Release 7.0 introduction dates are as follows:
2. Required action
There is no impact expected on Clearing Members and vendors, since the change is only envisaged on Eurex C7 side. Clients can continue to use any of their existing programming language (C++, Java, Phyton or C+.NET).

Please note that Focus Days for C7 Release 7.0 in simulation will continue as planned on the following dates: 16 October, 22 October and 29 October 2020.
3. Details
This initiative is being postponed until further notice. Due to issues with the connection handling in the new broker software in simulation, the current FIXML broker production software (based on a C++ solution) will continue to be used in simulation and production.
Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used and not otherwise defined in this circular shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Clearing Conditions or FCM Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, as applicable.
