1. Introduction
With reference to Eurex Clearing circular 050/21, the present circular specifies the connection fees that will generally be treated as VAT-exempt as of 1 July 2021. The changes are made subject to further coordination with the tax authorities.
2. Required action
No action on the part of the Clearing Members is required vis-à-vis Eurex Clearing AG. However, Participants should assess the dependencies and impact of this change.
3. Details
With effect from 1 July 2021, all connection fees, regulated in §§ 1 and 2 of the Price List to the Agreement on Technical Connection to the Clearing EDP of Eurex Clearing AG, will be invoiced without VAT for Clearing Members. For Multi-Member Service Providers, the connection fees in § 1 will continue to be invoiced with VAT.
Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used and not otherwise defined in this circular shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Clearing Conditions or FCM Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, as applicable.
