Eurex Clearing
1. Introduction
With this circular, Eurex Clearing announces that new SSL/TLS certificates on the AMQP brokers used for the Eurex Clearing FIXML interface in the simulation and production environments will be installed. The new certificates will replace the existing certificates which are approaching their expiration date.
Please note that the duration of the certificates is established by third party regulation and it is consistent across all certification authorities.

The new public keys will be available for download for simulation on 19 September 2022 and for production on 26 September 2022 on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ under the following link:

Clearing Members are advised to download the new public keys from the Eurex Clearing website and install them in their client applications prior to the activation dates mentioned under 1.
If required, Clearing Members can test connectivity in the production environment with dedicated support on Saturday, 8 October 2022, between 12:00 and 15:00 CEST.
3. Details
The certificates are signed by the DigiCert certification authority (CA). The root and intermediate certificates of the CA are available for download on their official website www.digicert.com.
The public keys of the AMQP brokers or the public keys of the CA must be installed first on the client’s side for the client application to accept the server certificates. Most AMQP clients can work with multiple certificates at the same time, therefore it is possible to upload the public keys in advance.
Once the new production certificate is installed on the Eurex side on 8 October 2022, client connections established with the old certificate will not drop automatically and will remain connected until disconnection or broker re-start.
After the activation dates, the connection will only work with the new public keys. This new FIXML certificate does not affect certificates uploaded in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group.
