1. Introduction
The circular contains information with respect to Eurex Clearing’s GC Pooling, respectively on the decommissioning of the specific concentration limit for allocated securities of issuers EFSF (European Financial Stability Facility), ESM (European Stability Mechanism), and FROB (Fund of Orderly Bank Restructuring), as introduced with Eurex Clearing Circulars 008/13 and 070/13.
Effective date: 10 October 2022
2. Required action
We kindly ask you to forward this circular to all involved departments within your company.
3. Details of the initiative
Eurex Clearing decommissions the specific concentration limits for the following issuers:
as introduced with Eurex Clearing Circulars 008/13 and 070/13.
For the issuers EFSF and ESM, the standard concentration limits for supranational issuers will apply. Issued instruments on issuer FROB are no longer available. Therefore, no concentration limits are required.
Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used and not otherwise defined in this circular shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Clearing Conditions or FCM Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, as applicable.
