Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | Request for DMP Coordinator update
Dear Client,
With respect to the Default Management Process (DMP), Eurex Clearing foresees, according to Chapter I, Part 1, 7.5 (4) of the Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, that each Clearing Member shall appoint one employee as coordinator (“DMP Coordinator”) and another of its employees as a deputy (“DMP Deputy”).
With the upcoming Member Section Release scheduled for 11 December 2023, Central Coordinators will be notified going forward via Tasks in the Member Section, in case contact data of “DMP Coordinator”/“DMP Deputy” are considered insufficient or outdated.
Required Action
As both the DMP Coordinator and the DMP Deputy act as central contacts for all general matters related to the DMP of Eurex Clearing, Clearing Members are asked to:
- Review contact details for the “DMP Coordinator” and the “DMP Deputy” in the Company Contacts tab of Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group.
- Update contact details where necessary in the Company Contacts tab of Eurex Clearing Member Section.
- Periodically review and confirm the assignments for “DMP Coordinator”/“DMP Deputy” (at least every 180 calendar days). In addition, please reflect any known changes to the “DMP Coordinator”/“DMP Deputy” responsibilities immediately to ensure a stable communication channel in case of a DMP.
Please also ensure that you indicate the Liquidation Group responsibilities per “DMP Coordinator”/“DMP Deputy”.
