Eurex Clearing C7 Disaster Recovery Test on 24 October 2026

Eurex Clearing Circular 061/26:  Eurex Clearing C7 Disaster Recovery Test on 24 October 2026

1. Introduction

With this circular, Eurex Clearing would like to inform you on the planned disaster recovery (DR) test for the Eurex Clearing C7 application as part of the FIA Disaster Recovery Exercise 2026 scheduled for 24 October 2026

The Eurex Clearing DR exercise scenario simulates a complete outage of the data centre facilities.

2. Required action

The existing C7 simulation environment will be migrated to an emergency environment in the cloud (Google Cloud Platform (GCP)). The C7 interfaces will remain on-premise, therefore no connection changes are required.

All tests will be performed with data from the simulation environment including all transactions and positions. The success criteria for the DR test is performing C7 derivatives clearing adjustments by using C7 GUI or FIXML interface.

3. Details of the initiative

Eurex has a different test scope on the same day, therefore no combined tests between T7 and C7 are possible. But to also support this trade-flow testing, the C7 simulation will remain hosted on GCP until 29 October 2026.

To support the DR test, we provide a “Customer Communication Package - FIA Disaster Recovery Exercise 2026”
