Eurex Clearing
More than 80 guests attended the first buy side-only forum in Frankfurt. Jointly held by Eurex Clearing and the German Investment Funds Association (BVI) it featured a key presentation from Dr. Stefan L. Pankoke, Deputy Head of Division, Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFIN). Main topics were the current challenges for the buy side industry, the change of business models for the buy side and the clearing membership followed by a lively discussion. The overall very positive feedback has already led to the planning of a 2nd edition of the forum in 2016.
