Optional Scalability Enhancements for FIXML Processing

To optimize your processing throughput, Eurex Clearing is introducing optional scalability enhancements to our FIXML infrastructure. These changes allow for a more efficient setup and configuration of relevant parameters, leading to potential performance benefits. This initiative is entirely optional. There is no fixed start date, the functionality will be provided to interested clients upon request.

Optional Scalability for FIXML Processing

The introduction of multiple receivers per FIXML request queue increases throughput and resilience, enhancing transaction‑processing capacity and reducing latency under heavy load. Additional performance gains can be achieved by adjusting technical parameters; however, this requires the ability to process asynchronous responses, which may arrive in a different order than the requests.

We encourage interested Clearing Members to test the enhancements in the simulation environment to see the improvements for their individual setup.

Simulation testing must be coordinated with the Technical Key Account Manager, who will support with setup, execution, and evaluation.

After successful simulation tests, Clearing Members can submit an opt-in to their Technical Key Account Manager to activate the new configuration. The activation can be scheduled individually to fit needs and is independent of any C7 release cycle.
