Improved Horizontal Scaling for FIXML

Eurex Clearing will improve the resilience and scalability of transaction management via the FIXML interface. C7 will support multiple receivers per FIXML request queue, enabling greater throughput and flexibility.

As a result, responses and broadcasts triggered by client requests may no longer appear in the same order in which the requests were sent. Participants are required to test scalability settings in simulation before the introduction of C7 Release 13.0 to ensure that their software can consume out-of-sequence messages.

FIXML Scalability Enhancements

To improve resilience and processing capacity, responses to your FIXML requests may arrive out of the order in which they were sent. This change enhances the throughput and scalability of transaction management.

Clients are required to test their scalability settings in the simulations environment to ensure their systems can correctly process out-of-sequence messages. Please contact your Technical Key Account Manager if you would like to access the simulation before 31 August. Otherwise, the functionality will be activated for all users in the simulation environment after this date.
