Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 Release 13.0: Start of Simulation phase on 31 August 2026
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing informs Clearing Members, ISA Direct Clearing Members, Disclosed Direct Clients and vendors that the simulation environment for C7 Release 13.0 will be available as of Monday, 31 August 2026.
The simulation phase provides participants with the opportunity to test their applications and operational processes ahead of the production launch of C7 Release 13.0, which is scheduled for 9 November 2026.
Scope of the Simulation:
The simulation environment reflects the functional scope of C7 Release 13.0:
- Prior UTI for External Position Transfers
- FIXML Position Maintenance Report Enhancements
- Product and Capacity Assignment
- Improved Horizontal Scaling for FIXML
- Higher Cash Deposit Limits for JPY
- Advanced Risk Protection Message Changes
- Fee Identification Code Changes
- Changes to Reports
Please note that a Focus Day on Product and Capacity (De-)Assignment is scheduled for 23 September 2026.
The objective of this session is to draw participants’ attention to the activation of the functionality and enable them to understand and evaluate the related enhancements through a comparison of the before-and-after reports.
Also, as part of the simulation setup, horizontal scalability will be configured for all participants. Prior to the implementation of C7 Release 13.0, participants must complete scalability testing within the Simulation environment. Documentation:
All relevant Member documentation valid for simulation as of 31 August 2026, including Release Notes and Functional Reference Guides, is available on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ under: C7 Release 13.0. Also, C7 13.0 Clearing GUI - User Manual is planned to be published on 24 August 2026.
Recommended action:
Participants are strongly encouraged to actively participate in the simulation phase and ensure their systems are prepared for the upcoming production launch. Clearing Members and vendors should review the documentation and perform comprehensive testing covering C7 GUI, FIXML interfaces, and report changes.
