1. Settlement related cash instruction changes

With the introduction of C7 SCS Release 1.0, Eurex Clearing extends the range of business areas, for which the C7 Payment Service will be used: Cash instructions related to settlement of trades performed on Frankfurt Stock Exchange (MICs: XETR and XFRA) and settlement of transactions concluded at Eurex Deutschland (MIC: XEUR) which result in securities transactions will be migrated to the C7 Payment Service.

C7 SCS generated the following cash transaction types:

  • 450 (Buy-In Cash Amt Paid),
  • 451 (Buy-In Cash Amt Received),
  • 452 (Cash Settlement Received),
  • 454 (Cash Settlement Paid),
  • 472 (Cash Offset Shr Received) and
  • 474 (Cash Offset Shr Paid).

These types will be reflected in the CD710/711/712/715 reports, whereas the cash transactions related to settlement of Eurex Repo business (payments related to settlement and buy-in related cash payments) are still visible in CD010/011/012 and CD015 reports.

The Daily Cash Account (CD010) report will also provide the information on cash payments resulting out of exercises/assignments of Eurex derivatives positions in equity options.

With C7 Release 8.0, scheduled for November 2021, remaining cash payments related to Eurex derivatives positions in equity options will also be migrated to the C7 Payment Service. Further information will be published in scope of C7 Release 8.0.
