Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | EurexOTC Clear and PRISMA: Frozen Zones for Production in 2024 

Dear customer,

With this Newsflash, we would like to remind you of the upcoming Frozen Zones with regards to the EurexOTC Clear and PRISMA Releases. As announced via Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash from 29 December 2023: Frozen Zones for Simulation and Production launch in 2024, the following Frozen Zones are scheduled for the launch of 2024 production environment Releases:

  • EurexOTC Clear Releases 17.0 and 18.0 
  • PRISMA Releases 13.1 and 14.0 

These Releases will have an impact on the processing of OTC IRD related Onboarding requests, hence are to be considered when planning for new Onboardings.

During these dates, the following Onboarding activities for OTC IRS will not be supported:

  • New Disclosed Client with Member ID
  • New Fund Manager (FM) with Member ID
  • New Fund(s) under an existing FM
  • New DC in A-Account of the CM
  • New FCM Client

Any changes of reference data for Clearing Members and Clients of OTC IRS (e.g. change of pricing model, netting parameter, change of clearing model, or termination of clients), except for Clearer changes, will be supported during that time.
 
To ensure in-time processing, Clearing Members are advised to apply for changes or new set-ups well in advance of the Frozen Zone or wait until it has finished.

Please note that buy-side client onboardings - both for individual clients/funds and for several clients/funds at once - can be initiated by a Clearing Member at any time utilizing the “Client Onboarding Tool (C7 CAS)”. The foreseen go-live date will then be confirmed by the Onboarding team.

Moreover, only the Frozen Zones of EurexOTC Clear and PRISMA Releases potentially affect the Onboarding process. Frozen Zones implemented due to the C7 and C7 SCS Release do not have an impact on the Onboarding of Clients.
