Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | Home Market Settlement: Optional enhancement of party level information
We would like to inform you about the scheduled end-to-end Home Market Settlement (HMS) testing between Eurex Clearing and ESES markets (Euroclear France (SIC), Euroclear Nederland (NEC), and Euroclear Belgium (CIK)).
The testing for Eurex physical deliveries in equities, including connectivity to the respective (I)CSDs, will take place from 5 to 16 October 2026 (excluding 13 and 15 October as ESES’ simulation environment will not be available). This optional test provides a unique opportunity for interested Clearing Members to validate the full trade lifecycle across trading, clearing, and settlement. Please note that the current simulation environment does not include connectivity to the ESES CSDs.
Please note that HMS for ESES markets is an existing service offering by Eurex Clearing which was introduced with C7 SCS Release 3.7 in September 2024. For functional details please refer to C7 SCS Release 3.7 Release Notes Chapter 5. For additional information, please refer to the details of the previous end-to-end simulation run provided in the C7 SCS Release 3.7 Member Simulation Guide, starting from Chapter 3.5.
Participation requirements
Clearing Members wishing to participate are requested to:
- Inform client.services@eurex.com of the relevant SIC, CIK, or NEC settlement account number in T2S format, if the settlement account has not yet been set up in the C7 SCS simulation environment until 28 September.
- Prefund the dedicated securities account with sufficient cash and securities.
- Open positions in T7 simulation in one of the ISINs listed below, depending on the selected (I)CSD, starting from 5 October.
- Exercise these positions in C7 simulation to trigger settlement and generate the relevant settlement reports.
