Eurex
With 122 listed MSCI index-based futures, 20 MSCI index-based options and an open interest of around 2.5 million contracts, Eurex is already the exchange with the broadest MSCI index-linked offering tradable on one platform, and the highest open interest globally.
Striving to become the number one exchange for the key global benchmarks, Eurex will add another 14 futures and 2 options to its current suite on 6 April 2020. The new products include futures on MSCI Kuwait, which will enter the MSCI Emerging Market index end of May, as well as further European country futures on Netherland, Spain and the Nordic countries.
In addition, Eurex will offer the first MSCI-based small cap indices (for Europe and World), futures on the Gulf cooperation council (GCC) countries and two different options on the broad MSCI All Country World Index (ACWI).
“Eurex is very pleased with the development of the MSCI derivatives and we are extending the segment based on certain market trends and customer requests” says Ralf Huesmann, Equity and Index Product Research and Development, Eurex Exchange. Trading in MSCI index-based derivatives is one of the fastest growing segments at Eurex.
