[box_initial wave]TARGET2-Securities (T2S) is certainly a game-changer for the entire European post-trade environment and it will have impact on almost all market participants. In order to ensure reliable and efficient services in the future European post-trade environment, Eurex Clearing is currently preparing for the implementation of T2S. The necessary adaptations at Eurex Clearing will also require amendments on our client’s side.
Eurex Clearing services affected by T2S
Eurex Clearing aims to minimize the overall introduction impact for clients. We are initially focussing on the migration of all current business activities, instruments processed and clients serviced. Thereby, we will consider highly prioritized client requirements resulting from the new T2S environment. The migration of the existing Eurex Clearing business towards T2S builds the basis for future extensions.
