Clearing GUI

Eurex Clearing provides various graphical user interfaces (GUIs). These GUIs permit users to perform a wide variety of clearing and risk management activities in the areas of listed derivatives and securities as well as for off-exchange (over-the-counter, OTC) business. Currently, Clearing Members can access our GUIs either via the internet or leased lines.

Eurex Clearing’s GUIs, supports clearing functions through its web based graphical user interface. Access to the Eurex Clearing GUIs is available via:  

  • Internet  
  • GUI channel on leased lines

What are the system requirements? 

The C7 Clearing GUI is a web based application which is accessed via a web browser. To run the GUI the following requirements must be fulfilled:  

  • One of the following supported web browsers must be installed: 
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or higher 
    • Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release (recommended) 
    • Google Chrome 
    • Other web browsers may work as well but are not explicitly supported by Eurex Clearing 
  • SSL transport and JavaScript must be enabled (for further information refer to the C7 Clearing GUIs - Access Guide)

How to access the C7 Clearing GUI

To access the C7 Clearing GUI it is necessary to request access to C7 beforehand. All details (Technical access/ Interfaces to Eurex Clearing / Clearing system usage fees) can be found under C7 Releases. Please select the latest release version and go to system documentation.

To ensure that each user can run the C7 Clearing GUI, the following prerequisites need to be met:

  • A certificate signed by “Gruppe Deutsche Boerse CA” needs to be installed in the browser (Please refer to the “C7 Clearing GUIs - Access Guide” available on the Eurex Clearing website for further information on how to request and install this certificate).
  • Working access to the C7 Clearing GUI. The user should check with his network and system administrators that all network, hardware and Eurex Clearing frontend software configuration requirements have been met.
  • A valid user ID for the Eurex backend.
  • A login identification and password for the C7 Clearing GUI.

Resetting of password for user ID: XXXXXXXXX needs to be done internally by the C7 GUI Administrator user on XXXXX. 

Please check internally with your appointed Clearing GUI Administrator to help on the request or if the account belongs to a designated administrator which requires to set his/her password, you may get in touch with our Clearing data team under +49 69 211 12453 // clearingdata@eurex.com. 

For your easy reference, the steps to reset the password will be as follows: 

  • log in to C7 GUI 
  • click on “password reset” on the top right corner 
  • fill out the userID  

There are 2 options to set a new password:  

  • it can be generated randomly or
  • entered manually 

If the generate password check box is selected,  

  • the new password is displayed after clicking the submit button.
  • or this check box can be unchecked to enter a self-chosen  password. In this case, the entered password is not displayed after clicking the submit button.
