With introduction of T2S Eurex Clearing will align its business day with new operating hours of T2S, for example reporting timings and instruction deadlines are amended.
With introduction of T2S, Eurex Clearing will evaluate its current cut-offs and where applicable will align them with T2S’ operating hours. Cut-offs for EUR-denominated T2S-eligible equities will for example be extended to 16:00 CET.
Intra-day released sell equity trades of the surplus are bundled in intra-day aggregation runs in order to reduce the number of delivery instructions sent to T2S for settlement. Aggregation runs will only be applicable for equities. Released sell bond trades of the surplus and gross trades are immediately sent to T2S. In comparison to equities, there are fewer and much bigger bond trades and therefore an immediate settlement is more important than the costs for the delivery instruction.
