It is envisaged to keep GC Pooling processing stable with the introduction of T2S: The current mechanism of reserving collateral, booking cash and transferring collateral is not changed. The cash leg of GC Pooling instructions in euro will be settled in T2S as today. The cash leg of GC Pooling instructions in non-euro (i.e. U.S. dollar) will be settled via CREATION (Clearstream’s 6-series account). Ergo the current service will not be changed. The securities leg will be settled Free of Payment in T2S.
No, there is no change in processing of Danish bonds (DKK-denominated). They will be settled in VP Securities as today. Securities in Danish krones will initially not be settled in T2S.
